DUBROVNIK AND THE THREE ISLANDS MULTI-ACTIVITY HOLIDAYprice from 680 €
Croatia - Multi-activities - 8 days

This is a fantastic holiday for discovering Dubrovnik and the surrounding area through a range of different activities: sea kayaking, cycling, walking & trekking. The intention of this tour is to give you an experience of the natural beauty, the culture and the history which make Dubrovnik and these islands unique.

In the small locality of Dubrovnik and the islands of Lokrum, Sipan and Mljet, you will find remains which date from the antique age, middle age to the recent history. The territory of our activities and trips are unspoiled natural beauty. Rich Mediterranean vegetation, pine and cypress forests and crystal blue sea.

This trip is ideal for people who want to find the perfect combination of activities, cultural sights and leisure. You will be part of a small group, so it's easy to come with friends or family or to come on your own. We travel slowly, but we enjoy every step of our trip. We will paddle along the city walls to the Island of Lokrum where we can relax and swim in its hidden bays as well as explore and visit the interior where there is a beautiful botanical garden complete with subtropical plants. We will also see the 12th century Benedictine monastery and a small salt lake before we head back to Dubrovnik. Night in a pension. Breakfast included.

Day 3 Cycling on Sipan
This is a self guided cycling trip with our assistance and car transfers.

We set out from the old port in a local boat to Sipan, which is the largest of the famous Elafiti islands. It has two little settlements - Luka Sipanska and Sudjuradj, both of which are ancient and have great character.

Sipan is an island with a rich cultural heritage and is characterized by a rich Mediterranean vegetation of vineyards, olive trees and pine forests - perfect for cycling.

Our cycling tour starts at Sudjuradj and heads inland through the island. There are many possibilities for the day, and to explore the island by bike is ideal as there are very few cars on this island which is dominated by a fishing community. At the western end of the island, at the port of Luca, you will find many interesting sights: old churches, summer residential palaces, beautiful pine forest, hidden bays… IN the late afternoon you will return to the port of Sudjradj for the boat departure to Dubrovnik. Night in a pension. Breakfast provided.

Day 6 Walking on Mljet
Our day starts with a bus transfer to the port of Dubrovnik, from where we will take a boat to Polace on Mljet. Called "the green island" because of its lush vegetation, Mljet is a pearl in the Adriatic and one of eight Croatian National Parks. As with Sipan, Mljet has beautiful Mediterranean vegetation, crystal blue seas, numerous bays, beaches and cliffs... but also two lovely salt lakes, which are warm even early in the year.

Our walking begins on arrival at the village of Polace behind the ancient remains of a Roman palace dating from the 2nd Century and continues through the National Park and around the salt lakes. The walk averages around 3 hours and there is the chance to swim and enjoy lunch in a local tavern before returning at the end of the day by boat to Dubrovnik.

Night in a pension. Breakfast and lunch included.
