This walking holiday will take you to the Island of Korcula, birth place of Marco Polo, in Dubrovnik, pearl of the Adriatic and protected by the UNESCO, in the great Elaphite island of Sipan and the medieval town of Cavtat with the picturesque countryside of Konavle.

Program

Day 1 Arrival in Dubrovnik After welcoming you in Dubrovnik, you will be transfered to Lumbarda, in the island of Korcula. Lumbarda is a small Mediterranean fishermen's village located at the eastern part of Korcula. Night in Lumbarda.

Day 2 From Lumbarda to Korcula After breakfast starting walking tour from village Lumbarda, for first day we suggest rout from Village to Town of Korcula. It is very interesting scenery of sandy beaches, pine woods, olive groves…Upon arriving in Korcula town you have possibility to explore city by yourself (narrow streets of the Old Town, Cathedral and museum, birth place (house) of the Marco Polo). Day 3 Scenic Lumbarda After breakfast, following your instructions on the map you can follow the path above the village and visit many of the sandy beaches, sandy vineyards, enjoy in spectacular views to the open sea and island Of Lastovo, or to Peljesac peninsula, without interruptions of cars and traffics Accommodation: Pension Included Meals: Breakfast

Day 4 From Korcula to Dubrovnik This is departure day from Korcula and we continue our holidays in Dubrovnik (two nights) after that we spend last two nights in Town of Cavtat (Dubrovnik airport vicinity). There is a ferry line from Korcula to Dubrovnik, every Tuesday and it takes to Dubrovnik cca 3 hours. After breakfast we transfer our travellers to ferry port Domince (Korcula Town departure 13:00 h, Dubrovnik arrival 16:15 h). Local transfer from port of Gruz in Dubrovnik to the accommodation is included. Late afternoon on schedule is meeting with the local guide and Dubrovnik sightseeing walking tour. Night on your own. Day 5 The Sipan Island Second day of Dubrovnik we go to the island of Sipan, there are many possibilities to walking and to explore island, but according to the map and directions we suggest hike from port of Sudjuradj along the vineyards and olive trees to (western part of the island) port of the Luka where boat departs to Dubrovnik. Accommodation: Pension Included Meals: Breakfast

Day 6 The Konavle countryside After breakfast we left Dubrovnik by minibus (minivan), our next destination is Cavtat and area of Konavle countryside. Before we start wit hiking we will left our languages in our new accommodation in Cavtat (private bedroom with own bathroom, breakfast included) and we will pass through maps and directions of the pathways once again. Hiking pathways starts in Cavtat and continue among villages, forests, fields and vineyards to village Cilipi. Total distances of the trails and paths are about 15 km and there are many possibilities to explore area, from picturesque villages, traditional way of life, ethno collection and antic monuments to the cliffs, bays and spectacular views to the open sea. Late afternoon back transfer to accommodation in Cavtat. Accommodation: Pension Included Meals: Breakfast

Day 7 Rest day in Cavtat This day should be for relaxing and easy sightseeing in the Cavtat old town, its parks and walkways and if you are interested in culture and history there are museums, ethno collection, galleries, churches…, or you could just relax on the beach and enjoy some nice restaurants. Night in Cavtat.

Day 8 From Cavtat to Dubrovnik End of stay after breakfast. You will be transferred to your departure point in Dubrovnik.
